This position offers the opportunity to work with learners who require specialist communication support, helping them access the curriculum and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Duties
- Deliver support using British Sign Language
- Facilitate communication within the classroom
- Promote learner independence and self‑confidence
- Support educational and personal development goals
- Travel between multiple educational sites throughout Gateshead
Essential Criteria
- Level 2 BSL qualification
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Strong communication and organisational skills
