Join us as a full-time BET Operator with Fort McKay Group of Companies, where you will focus on bird monitoring and environmental work at site locations.
This role involves supporting a variety of tasks, from operating small equipment to assisting with labor and maintenance duties, all while adhering to stringent safety protocols. Your contributions will directly support the effective monitoring of birds within tailings areas, guaranteeing compliance with environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support manual labor and maintenance activities across site
• Operate SHERPA ATVs, loaders, and other small equipment
• Conduct pre-operational checks and keep equipment in order
• Set up and maintain bird deterrents as necessary
• Drive company vehicles to transport personnel safely
Requirements:
• Completed High School Diploma or GED required
• Class 5 Driver's License required with a good Abstract
• 1+ years’ relevant construction experience
