Join the Village of Lumby as a Full-Time Arena Operator, maintaining ice surfaces and park facilities. This role combines indoor and outdoor tasks, adapting to seasonal temperature changes.
As an Arena Operator 2, you will be essential to our municipal team under the Foreman's guidance. Your responsibilities include maintaining the arena ice using a Zamboni, overseeing parks and playgrounds, and performing custodial duties. The position requires a Grade 12 Diploma and a Class 5 driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain ice surfaces with Zamboni and equipment
• Oversee park facilities and playground upkeep
• Perform tree maintenance and cemetery operations
• Operate irrigation systems as needed
• Complete custodial and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or G.E.D.
