Aotea Energy in Auckland is building an affordable, intelligent battery platform. You will own the product, shipping code that runs on customers’ hardware, from mobile UI to Rust APIs and embedded firmware.

You’ll work across the full stack, directly with users who care deeply about energy tech, with high autonomy and a strong emphasis on simple, elegant solutions to hard problems. Our stack evolves as we scale to handle real-time grid data, IoT pipelines, and distributed hardware.
