Job Description

Primary Responsibilities & Duties
Perform software development, enhancements, and bug fixes for Racing Victoria applications
resulting from user raised incidents, BAU and assigned project tasks.
Maintain and improve overall quality of the code base. Adhere to high standards of
development practices and continuous improvement.
Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, prototyping/proof-of-concepts as
required in support of RV product and digital transformation initiatives
Personal Skills & Qualities
Extensive knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
Programming languages / frameworks / tools:
React and Gatsby frontend Framework
Node js ,Javascript ,Graphql Api
Unit testing framework ,eg Jest
AWS native services (including Lambda, API Gateway)
API development and microservice architecture
Ideally AWS Certified Developer Associate
Experience creating Unit Tests and an understanding of BDD
