Northland School Division is seeking a Full-Time Cree Language Instructor for Calling Lake School. The kindergarten to grade 12 school is located in Calling Lake, Alberta. This beautiful, charming community is situated on the eastern shore of Calling Lake, known for its tranquility and recreational pleasures. Calling Lake is approximately 60 kilometres away from Athabasca, Alberta and approximately 200 kilometres from Edmonton, Alberta. Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Fluency in the Indigenous language of the community.

  • Preference to candidates having classroom and/or classroom management skills.

  • The ability to develop lesson plans.

  • Interest in working with children.

  • Training and/or background in working with children would be an asset.
