Frontend Developer - HCI and 3D - Applicantz (Toronto)

Hybrid in Toronto, no set days to be in office as such.

We are looking for an HCI & UI Developer to help design and build intuitive, high-impact user interfaces for our research platforms. You will contribute to foundational UI components that enable engineers and designers to interact with complex, AI-driven systems—especially in 3D and CAD‑adjacent environments. This role is ideal for a frontend engineer who enjoys working close to research teams and translating complex technical concepts into elegant, usable interfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional UI / Frontend development experience
• Strong expertise in React and Next.js
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of UI/UX and HCI principles
• Experience building responsive, scalable web applications
• Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills
• Education – Bachelor of Computer Science or similar
