Job Description

  • Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests.
  • Secure payment; activate or reissue room keys.
  • Ensure room rates match market codes and properly document any exceptions.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guest folios as needed.
  • Communicate with departments when guests are waiting for available rooms.
  • Notify guests of messages and clear departures in the system.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and address guest concerns.
  • File guest paperwork and documentation appropriately.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station efficiently.
  • Run and review daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports.
  • Provide guests with accurate directions and property information.
  • Answer, record, and follow up on all guest calls, requests, or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
