Job Description
- Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests.
- Secure payment; activate or reissue room keys.
- Ensure room rates match market codes and properly document any exceptions.
- Verify and adjust billing for guest folios as needed.
- Communicate with departments when guests are waiting for available rooms.
- Notify guests of messages and clear departures in the system.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and address guest concerns.
- File guest paperwork and documentation appropriately.
- Operate the telephone switchboard station efficiently.
- Run and review daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports.
- Provide guests with accurate directions and property information.
- Answer, record, and follow up on all guest calls, requests, or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
