Front-End Engineer II, Route 53 Console

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The Amazon Route 53 Console team in Vancouver, BC is hiring experienced front-end engineers to build and maintain secure frontend interfaces for one of the most heavily used sections of the AWS Management Console.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure frontend interfaces for Route 53 DNS management console using React and TypeScript
• Implement security controls for DNS configuration interfaces to prevent misconfigurations that could lead to security vulnerabilities
• Build intuitive user interfaces for managing DNS records, health checks, and traffic policies
• Collaborate with security architects to implement safeguards against DNS-related threats (cache poisoning, zone transfers)
• Create responsive designs that maintain security integrity across device types
