The Barrick Africa & Middle East Team are seeking to recruit Fatal Risk Management Superintendent – Fall of Ground.
As a Superintendent, you will play a critical role in bridging our risk management standards with day-to-day operations. This position goes beyond compliance paperwork—it's about proactive leadership. You’ll be expected to independently identify non-compliance and fatal-risk exposures, ensure they are escalated, and drive accountability for resolution.
Your mission is to guarantee that critical controls are not only implemented but functioning effectively to prevent Material Unwanted Events (MUEs) and fatalities. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership and champions safety at every level.
