Job Title: Freight Handler
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Hours / Schedule: Monday – Thursday: ~9-hour days, 5:30 AM – 2:45 PM
Friday: Half day, 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18 – $21/hour
Role Summary:
The Freight Handler is responsible for shipping orders according to customer demands, supporting production schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring materials are stored and shipped properly. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare, package, and palletize products for shipment according to company and customer requirements
+ Enter and maintain shipment and inventory information in systems like SAP or Oracle
+ Conduct cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy
+ Maintain safe lifting practices and handle materials up to 35 lbs
+ Follow quality system procedures and report any non-conformances
