Freight Controller

As a Freight Controller at Nile Fresh (Pty) Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics of product transportation. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all freight operations are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers
• Manage relationships with freight carriers and negotiate rates and contracts
• Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays or damages
• Maintain accurate records of freight transactions and logistics costs
• Provide regular reports on logistics performance and cost savings initiatives

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Freight Controller or in a similar logistics role
• Strong knowledge of freight management processes and transportation regulations
