Job Description
We're WasteHero, a Danish B2B SaaS company building mission-critical waste management software for municipalities across Europe. We're scaling our Cairo Engineering Hub and need a hungry, well-connected freelance recruiter based in Egypt to help us hire 20 senior backend engineers with a target of all offers accepted within 8 weeks and all hires starting no later than week 12.
This is not a job-posting gig. We need someone who will actively headhunt passive candidates – the senior engineers currently working at companies like Paymob, Luciq (formerly Instabug), Vodafone, Orange, Swvl, and similar. People who won't apply to a LinkedIn post but will move for the right opportunity. Priority will be given to candidates on short notice periods or immediately available.
WHAT WE'RE HIRING FOR
- 5+ years Python backend experience
- FastAPI, PostgreSQL, REST/GraphQL APIs
- Production experience with microservices architecture, Docker, CI/CD
