About the Role


We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver engaging English, Maths and/or ESOL learning programmes within a custodial environment. You will support residents to develop essential skills, achieve recognised qualifications, and improve their opportunities for employment and successful reintegration into society.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and develop Functional Skills, Literacy, Numeracy and/or ESOL programmes.

  • Assess learners' abilities and create supportive learning pathways.

  • Promote education opportunities and maximise learner engagement and achievement.

  • Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
