Job Description

1. Formwork Planning & Design

  • Prepare formwork layout drawings, shuttering plans, staging plans, and form pressure calculations.
  • Select appropriate formwork systems (aluminium, steel, modular, traditional timber, tunnel form, etc.) based on project needs.
  • Coordinate with structural engineers to evaluate load calculations, concreting pressures, and temporary support requirements.
  • Optimize formwork reuse cycles to reduce material cost.

    • 2. Execution & Site Coordination

  • Supervise and guide site teams on formwork erection, alignment, staging, and shuttering installation.
  • Ensure proper leveling, plumb, line, and dimensions before concrete pouring.
  • Conduct daily inspections for formwork stability and preparation for concreting.
  • Coordinate with reinforcement, MEP, and concreting teams to avoid clashes.
