Forklift/Machine Operator, Bertch Cabinets

The Machine and Forklift Operator is responsible for operating machines in the assigned department and handling product for the machine operators.

The machines range from various difficulty levels, and may include the following: 

• Table Saw
• Chop Saw
• Drill Press
• Kreg Drill
• Glue Clamp
• Planer/Sander
• Straight Line Rip Saw
• Dovetail Machinery
• Machine and Hand Sanders

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follows all safety rules and contributes to a safe work environment.
2. Sets up and operates various machines and hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets, high grade furniture, countertops and mirrors.
3. Checks in parts, verifies count, quality and identification of all product that is produced in assigned area, prior to shipment to the next process.
