Forklift Operator

Forklift Operators are responsible for managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.

• Operating forklifts to move materials around the facility or worksite
• Ensuring efficient and safe transportation of materials and products
• Inspecting forklifts for safety and maintenance needs and reporting any issues or damages
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Checking loads are secure and properly distributed
• Stacking empty pallets and reorganizing the storage areas
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift's battery and lubricating equipment
• Using equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
• Adhering to safety procedures and standards at all times
• Recording daily production logs and equipment inspection reports
