Job Description

• Drives forklifts and other industrial vehicles to move materials around warehouses and factories. They also ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
• Loading and unloading: Pick, pack, and load products onto and off of trailers, rail cars, and cargo ships.
• Moving materials: Use forklifts to move materials around the facility, including pallets, crates, lumber, and hazardous materials.
• Stacking: Stack loads in storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Maintaining equipment: Inspect machinery for repairs, perform regular maintenance, and determine when repairs are needed.
• Documenting: Complete forms, maintain production records, and report issues.
• Quality assurance: Report product damage and shortages, and use radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory.
