Job Description

Teknion Custom Solutions is looking for a Forklift Operator. We are a custom wood office furniture manufacturer producing a large variety of office furniture. The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of sheet stock, glass and lumber materials into and around our busy manufacturing facility. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of production and maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Requires knowledge and the ability to identify different materials such as MDF, particle board, plastic laminate, varieties of lumber and others,

  • Must be able to safely move, organize and store 4 x 11 pallets of sheet stock on 8 foot racking,

  • Verify the bill of lading/packing slip against received materials (quantity and quality) before signing off,
