Forklift Operator

Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating industrial forklifts and other equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and must adhere to company and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
• Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
• Ensure proper documentation and labeling of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
