Forestry Consultant

Carbon Assessors is an advisory company specializing in insights and forecasts for the Canadian Carbon Markets. We equip traders, project developers, and financial institutions with critical data for managing carbon credits, offsets, and compliance projects. We are currently seeking a Forest Consultant to support a time‑bound forest carbon project. This role is ideal for someone with strong forestry expertise who is also comfortable working alongside GIS and software teams to review technical outputs and document defensible assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Translate forestry and management guidance into clear criteria, assumptions, and decision logic.
• Support QA/QC by reviewing inventory and mapping outputs against reference sources.
