This role is responsible for keeping Council’s bridge network safe, reliable, and operating at its best. It involves managing the bridge asset database, planning and scheduling maintenance works, and coordinating staff, contractors, and resources to deliver efficient outcomes within budget.

• Lead and supervise a dedicated Bridge Maintenance crew, overseeing daily operations to keep critical infrastructure safe, reliable, and performing at its best.
• Plan and deliver maintenance and repair programs for timber and concrete bridges across Tweed Shire, coordinating resources and managing budget to achieve efficient outcomes.
