Food Service Worker (Cashier)

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to either the Upper Deck Restaurant at the Marina and/or Rickenbacker's Eatery. Physical Effort: Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Continuous standing, walking, frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and bending. May be required to work on ladders and use powered cleaning equipment. Responsibilities Ensures preparation or food and beverage items using measured and standard recipes. Observes and ensure portion control procedures when preparing menu items. Serves food in a snack bar style. Demonstrates proper work methods and checks work while in progress. Ensures equipment is set up, clean and maintained for daily operations. Sells posted menu items, daily specials and limited variety of prepared food and beverages.
