Food Service Assistant

The Food Services Assistant (FSA) is a valued team member who reports to the Chef of the Home. They help prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, organise food orders, and ensure menus meet specialised dietary needs, including supplements and texture-modified meals.

Working closely with the Chef and kitchen team, the FSA supports daily operations, liaises with staff and suppliers, and helps create a positive, enjoyable dining experience for residents.

The FSA is responsible for supporting and providing a high standard of food safety in preparation and serving of meals and hospitality services in a residential aged care setting, including following directions from the Chef and performs regular audits of the kitchen ensuring safety with kitchen cleaning, storage of foods.
