As a Flight Test Engineer you will be responsible for leading the flight test engineering team in planning and implementing flight test program(s); coordinating test program activities with manufacturing, test site resources, engineering system specialists, and other organizations; ensuring proper configuration of the test article is specified and coordinated, as well as the proper test fixtures, sites, specialized equipment, and personnel availability to support the planned tests; and creating the test cards, conducting the pre- and post-test briefings, and directing and conducting the actual test mission from the control room (TD and TC).
Maintain detailed specific knowledge of all aspects of the missions they are responsible for: Test Procedures, Aircraft Operating Limitations & Flight Clearance Limitations Compliance, Test Execution Package requirements and safety planning, including General Minimizing Procedures, Test Hazard Analyses, ...
