About us:
The Basic Wings Course (BWC) is the RSAF’s foundational pilot training programme. It develops core flying skills, airmanship, and aviation knowledge, preparing trainees for advanced training and operational conversion on RSAF aircraft. The programme combines ground academics and practical flying, covering navigation, formation flying, instrument flying, and emergency procedures. Graduates of the BWC will embark on Advanced Wings Course for type specific training before being awarded the coveted RSAF wings.
