Flexographic Press Apprentice

We have an exciting new position for a 2nd Shift Flexographic Press Apprentice. In this role, you will train to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviors required to independently operate a roll / flexographic press. On-the-job training will be conducted for this role,  during 1st shift (7:30 am to 4 pm) for approximately 4-6 weeks prior to taking on a set schedule of 2:30-11:00pm.

• Press Setup Training: Train under the direction of experienced press operators to develop a working knowledge of roll press operations, materials, and production workflows. Assist with make-ready procedures, load materials and rolls onto the press, set up magnetic die cylinders as training progresses, and support safe, efficient job changeovers and breakdowns, including removal of print cylinders, anilox rolls, and ink chambers.
