Fitter(FTC)

Maintenance & Technical Duties

• Overhaul, assemble, align, and install mechanical equipment.
• Conduct preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Respond to breakdowns and ONkey job cards.
• Perform daily plant inspections and identify problem areas.
• Prepare work for shutdowns and input maintenance data electronically.
• Maintain and update loop drawings and specification sheets.
• Work independently while complying with mechanical, electrical, OHS, and THS standards.

Plant & Equipment Exposure

• Pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, couplings, blowers, rotary valves, heat exchangers.
• Mechanical seals, agitators, packaging and weighing systems.
• Machining on centre lathes and general turning work.
