Fitter Technician

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Read and interpret engineering drawings to assemble machinery and components. Fit and install mechanical parts like pumps, valves, gearboxes, and conveyors. Perform routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment to prevent breakdowns. Diagnose mechanical faults and repair or replace broken parts quickly. Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery to modify or fabricate parts. Align and test completed machinery to ensure it runs safely and efficiently. Follow all workplace safety rules, including lock-out/tag-out procedures. Requires a relevant mechanical trade certificate and 2+ years of industrial experience.
