A well-established mining operation is seeking a qualified Fitter to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced artisan with a strong background in underground mining maintenance and equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment
Manage planned maintenance and construction activities
Conduct inspections in line with legal and safety standards
Ensure adherence to health and safety policies
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
Report directly to the Production Foreman
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education

Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter
Minimum N2 Certificate

Experience

Minimum 3 years’ underground mining experience
Experience with ore loading and underground equipment
