Fitter

A well-established mining operation is seeking a qualified Fitter to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced artisan with a strong background in underground mining maintenance and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment
• Manage planned maintenance and construction activities
• Conduct inspections in line with legal and safety standards
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
• Report directly to the Production Foreman

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education

• Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter
• Minimum N2 Certificate

Experience

• Minimum 3 years underground mining experience
• Experience with ore loading and underground equipment
