Our Client, Allied Forklifts Pty Ltd is currently seeking for Fitter (General) who will join their team.
Responsibilities
- Replaces worn or defective components as part of assembly or scheduled maintenance
- Installs mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components according to specifications
- Ensures assembled machinery and equipment meet functional and safety standards
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings and specifications for machinery
- Measures, cuts, and fits metal and mechanical components on forklifts and industrial equipment
- Sets up and uses hand and power tools to assemble and fit parts
- Reports progress and maintains records of work completed
