Support Indigenous student success in Merritt as a First Nations Support Worker with School District No. 58. Engage directly with Aboriginal students and promote cultural pride every day.
In this vital role, you'll assist students through individual or small group activities, fostering their educational, emotional, social, and cultural growth. You'll work closely with school principals and a multi-disciplinary team to implement key programs aimed at supporting Aboriginal students in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with student activities tied to the Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement
• Create and manage schedules for Aboriginal student support
