Insight Global is seeking a Firmware Engineering Manager for one of our Medical Device clients for a direct hire opportunity. This person can be located in Cincinnati, Ohio and would be expected to be onsite 4x/week.
The Functional Engineering Manager will lead functional areas (Electrical, Firmware and Software) in Product Engineering to deliver new products on time, on budget, and within quality targets. The Functional Engineering Manager will be responsible for adherence to NPD process, regulatory requirements of new products, and teammate development within the functional area. A successful manager in this role will lead an engineering team engaged in multiple project initiatives. The Functional Engineering Manager is also responsible for the technical development of teammates. This role will make resource allocation decisions along with other engineering managers and product management as to how best develop and resource projects in the portfolio.
