Position Details

Role: Fire & Security Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Contract type: Full-time permanent

Benefits: Up to £43,000 per annum (depending on experience); 25 + 8 days holiday; door‑to‑door pay; 40 hour week; overtime + rates; 1 in 6 on call; van + tools; and many more perks.

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintenance of fire and security systems, including access controls, emergency lights, and fire systems.
  • Installation and diagnostic repair.
  • Travel within the local area to key clients (retailers, restaurants, educational facilities, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of fire and security systems such as Advance, GENT, Honeywell, C‑tec, etc.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Full UK driving licence.
