FIRE PROTECTION INSPECTOR

Summary You will serve as a FIRE PROTECTION INSPECTOR in the FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT of NAVAL BASE VENTURA COUNTY. Responsibilities You will implement a fire prevention and fire protection enforcement program to ensure the capability to perform inspections, investigations, and surveys. You will inspect structures during construction or renovation to verify adherence to fire safety. You will develop and conduct training courses for military personnel, dependents, home care providers, civilian employees, and contractors on fire safety practices and procedures. You will inspect equipment (e.g., fire extinguisher, sprinkler systems, exits) to verify they are fully operational and meet regulatory requirements.
