FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER

Summary You will serve as a FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER in the Emergency Manager Branch (Code 106AX), of the Emergency Management Division (Code 106A), in the Occupational Safety Health & Environmental Department (Code 106), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Responsibilities You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for all matters regarding industrial fire safety, as well as identification, evaluation, and mitigation of all associated risks. You will provide technical expertise on electrical, electronic, mechanical, and other engineering principles related to fire prevention, fire safety, and fire protection. You will ensure compliance with fire safety technical requirements of NAVSEA Technical Publication S0570-AC-CCM-010/8010, Industrial Ship Safety Manual for Fire Prevention and Response.
