Job Description
Amentum is seeking a **Fire Marshall** to join our team on **Andros Island, Bahamas** to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The Fire Marshall is responsible for the oversight and administration of the Fire Prevention Office to include but not limited to Fire and Life Safety Inspections, Pre-Incident Planning, and Fire Prevention training of base populous. **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.**
**Essential Responsibilities:**
The Marshal is the lead Fire Prevention Officer and performs a variety of functions including oversight of the inspection, testing and maintenance tasks to ensure proper operation of fire detection and alarm systems are being performed in accordance with NFPA, Navy Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH), and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) standards. The Fire Marshal reports directly to the Fire Chief.
