Fire Chief – Lead Arctic Rescue Ops & 24-Hour Shifts

Lapin hyvinvointialue is seeking a Fire Chief for the eastern rescue area, Sodankylä fire station group. The role oversees the station group’s shift operations, leads firefighting efforts, and collaborates with the on‑duty fire chief within the rescue mechanism.

The position involves shift planning, training planning and implementation, and daily operations with a focus on safety and effectiveness. A 6‑month probation and health checks apply under HYVTES terms.
