Job Description

Chown Data & Fire Ltd is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician. You will be doing annual testing, inspections, & verifications in Western Manitoba, including Brandon and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

  • CFAA Certification required
  • Willing and able to travel in Western Manitoba
  • Understanding of applicable ULC standards
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Mechanically inclined, knowledge of using hand tools
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Valid Class 5F driver's license
  • 40 hour work week, starting $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience
  • Benefit plan available after 3 months
  • $3,000 signing bonus available, paid out after 6 month probationary period
