What You Will Do
Deliver end-to-end cloud cost visibility and accountability: build granular consumption views for IT and business across providers (Azure required, GCP desirable), enable showback/chargeback, and resolve stakeholder cost inquiries.Optimize and control spend: analyze root causes of overruns, define and implement FinOps policies and best practices, and partner with cross-functional teams to execute cost-optimization levers while tracking avoided costs.Plan and forecast: produce cloud cost forecasts based on current and future workloads, and support pre-deployment cost estimates for new applications/environments.Report and govern: maintain continuous monitoring, reporting, and governance to ensure ongoing cost management and measurable savings across the cloud estate.Own FinOps execution with AI assistance.
