Position Overview

The candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to perform all detailed accounting functions and analysis for several areas of the Corporate division. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing accounting assistance in support of all facets of the closing and reporting process, streamlining procedures. This individual will also be involved in several ad-hoc projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•Journal processing in SAP for US GAAP books•Maintain and close general ledger monthly for various Corporate departments for India Business•Perform daily transactional activity and record the transactions in the General ledger•Analysis vendor invoices and process upload files for payment release •Responsible for maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and performing Asset Accounting activities in SAP Fixed Assets Module•Compute depreciation as per India GAAP and India tax rules•Analyze and prepare journal entries and accruals•Prepare mont...
