Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop financial strategies aligned with farm operations and global expansion goals
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for crop cycles, livestock, and exports/imports
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports under international standards (e.g., IFRS)
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all operating countries
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity across multiple regions
- Manage costs for seeds, fertilizers, feed, machinery, and labour
- Oversee import/export finances, tariffs, and duties
- Implement currency exchange and hedging strategies to reduce financial risk
- Conduct risk assessments for weather, market volatility, and supply chain disruptions
