Financial Controller

We're now seeking to recruit a Financial Controller (FC) to lead the finance function for the Freight Services Business Unit, someone who can bring both technical and commercial strength, help shape financial governance, and play a key role in building the foundations for growth. This is a senior; hands‑on leadership role suited to a proven finance professional ready to progress into a Finance Director position within the next 18‑24 months. Reporting directly to the Business Unit Managing Director, and with a dotted line into the Group Finance Director, the FC will oversee a capable and developing team. The Financial Controller will provide strategic and operational leadership across a multi‑country, multi‑depot environment, ensuring control, compliance, and commercial alignment while supporting profitable growth and improved cost visibility.
