Financial controller

Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) Valid South African ID (Essential). Unfortunately, work permits cannot be considered for this position. Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Hotel Accountant within a corporate or branded hotel environment (Essential) Experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel operation Strong understanding of hotel financial controls, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Experience with hotel financial management systems advantageous Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills High level of integrity, attention to detail and confidentiality Willingness to relocate and live on the reserve Key Responsibilities Oversee the day‑to‑day financial operations of the lodge Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flo...
