About the Opportunity

Our client is a national food manufacturing company. They are seeking a Controller to join their team! This is a highly visible Controller role with strong internal growth potential, direct exposure to executive and operational leadership, and the opportunity to impact plant performance while building toward larger plant or multi-site finance leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, including goal setting, training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Manage the month-end close process and prepare financial reporting packages with detailed variance analysis and business commentary.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on operational reporting, including yield, labour efficiency, SKU mix, operating costs, inventory levels, DIO, and project spend.
