Edison Smart are partnered with a growing international company in Leiden who are looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of reporting, improve processes, and work closely with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and financial reporting
• Manage budgeting and forecasting
• Support audits and compliance
• Partner with internal teams on performance and planning
• Drive finance process improvements

Requirements:

• 4–8 years’ experience in finance/accounting
• Experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant
• Strong Excel/reporting skills
• Fluent English (Dutch a plus)
• Based in the Netherlands or open to relocating
