The Opportunity

A manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to improve reporting, forecasting, controls and commercial visibility across the finance function.

This is a hands-on role focused on enhancing the quality and timeliness of financial information, providing management with better insight to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve finance processes, controls and management reporting.
  • Develop a weekly profitability dashboard with meaningful KPIs.
  • Deliver monthly Board Packs within 7 working days of month-end.
  • Introduce product-level margin and profitability reporting.
  • Review BOMs and strengthen costing accuracy.
  • Implement a rolling 12-month forecast and variance analysis.
