Location: Vaughan, Ontario (Hybrid)
Position Summary: The Financial Analyst reports directly to the Senior Manager, General Accounting, and is responsible for processing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities. The incumbent records accruals, reallocations of expenses by line of business, and prepares month‑end inventory entries, while also participating in special projects and ad‑hoc analysis to support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting activities such as recording journal entries, analyzing financial variances, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring that proper accounting policies are followed.
- Prepare month‑end inventory entries (in‑transit inventory, obsolescence and excess inventory provisions, intercompany mark‑up, purchase price variances, etc.).
