Financial Accountant

A well-established advisory firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial management across the business. This role offers a hybrid working model, with attendance at the Potchefstroom office twice per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting function from source documents to financial reporting
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account reviews
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Support audit processes and statutory requirements
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
